About Sweet Rapture

Sweet Rapture was established in September 2005 as a lyrics/translation site featuring Mandarin Chinese song lyrics (in traditional character and Hanyu Pinyin) and their English translation. Featured music includes songs from Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, etc.

The website was created to advance my own Chinese language knowledge as well as share the meaning behind the lyrics. For those karaoke singers who are not as adept in the Chinese language, the translations give a sense of feeling and emotions that should be conveyed when singing.

All in all, this website is a tribute to all the amazing Chinese songwriters out there. I want to seize every chance I get to share their talent with everyone, even those who do not understand Chinese.
